I saw this movie last week in the library. The story features Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron),whose mother had drug addiction so he was adopted by many families. However he ran away every time to find his mother and took care of her. One cold day when he walked on the street to sleep in the gym, Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock), an interior designer married a wealthy man, noticed him and let him stay in her house, but Michael left in the morning. After a few days, Leigh Anne decided to become Michael's legal guardian. She helped Michael become a famous football player.
What I have learnt from this movie is that we should never give up on any child, because everyone has his or her potential, just like Michael's talent in playing football. Also I appreciate Leigh Anne's kind heart and her courage. She tries her best to protect family and treat Michael as her own son. I think this is really touching, you can find it in NCCU's library!
The Blind Side seems like a really touching movie. Actually this kind of movie is not my favorite :P, but I will place it on my list. If you like encouraging and moving ones, I would definitely recommend you to see The Help, which is about the connection between black people and white people. The discriminations and the affections it described made me so impressed. I heard that people who’ve watched it all love it so much. Probably you’ve seen before, if not, take my words and enjoy it :D
