Queen Inhyun's Man~

Queen Inhyun's Man(仁顯皇后的男人) is a Korean drama. The story features that a man who lives in 朝鮮 (past) uses an amulet(符咒) to go to modern time. His name is 金鵬道(池賢宇飾) and he is very smart. His job is to protect queen Inhyun form all dangers. However when he arrives in the modern city, he meets an actress named 金希珍(劉仁娜飾), and she acts as queen Inhyun in a drama. This drama is funny at first, but when 金鵬道 has to go back to the past, it becomes really sad, because 希珍 misses him very much.



Although this kind of story keeps showing on TV, it's story still different. In addition, the leading roles really fall in love with each other, and 池賢宇 told he loves 劉仁娜 in the press conference that shocks both 劉仁娜 and the public. However, after they became a couple, 池賢宇 had to fulfill his mandatory military service. Whether they are still together or not, well, I think no one knows!

TV series!

Since" 步步驚心" debuted, Chinese period drama has become very popular. Recently, another TV series becomes more popular and popular, it is" 後宮甄嬛傳". The emperor in this one is 雍正, just like 步步驚心, but he is older and not as handsome as 四爺 in 步步驚心. It features that the emperor and his wives. You can see how the palace changes a naive girl into a wily and brutal woman. Comparing it to 步步驚心, I think it is not so interesting, but more realistic, after all, women around the emperor always want to be the top one and try their best to beat their enemy. 甄嬛 is the leading character's name. She is really wise and strong. Maybe you won't agree with her behaviors in the end, but I think women in the past often had no choice but to do what they were not willing to do. 

A Gentleman's Dignity

Hi! Here comes another Korean drama that I'm recently watching. It is called" A Gentleman's Dignity (紳士的品格)". The story is about four middle-aged men and four women. It features their relationship in love and friendship. 伊秀(leading actress) is a high school teacher who falls in love with her best friend's boyfriend. One day, this secret is found out by 道振(leading actor), so it becomes an interesting story.

I think" A Gentleman's Dignity" is a good reflection of modern life. People in 21th century get married later and later. Marriage doesn’t seem to guarantee happiness anymore. Some people don't believe in true love or forever love, so they decide not to get married. However, in this story you can see how love change a person's perspective toward life and love. The story is funny at the first, but it can make you rethink about some issues, including divorce and remarriage in the end.

This time I want to share you a Taiwanese soap opera, which is named"我可能不會愛你". It just won seven prizes in Golden Bell Award! The reason why I love this one is that it is very realistic, unlike the traditional drama, in which the leading character is very rich and falls in love with a poor girl. The story could happen in real life. Also, this story shows that woman can be independent and live the life she wants to have. Plus,"大仁哥" is a popular word now, he is the perfect guy I think. How can a man be so kind and warming. Third, this drama shows that what a 30 years old person has could be really interesting and creative but is close to life too. I watched this drama when it first showed on TV, and it is really great. If you haven't seen it, go now and you won't be disappointed!

Nice Guys

Hi! Today I am going to show you a Korea drama that I recently watch. It is called" Nice Guys". The story features a man whose girlfriend kills someone but he pretends he is the killer to protect her. Therefore, he gives up the dream to become a doctor. Then he is put in jail for five years; however, when he comes out of the prison, he finds out that his girlfriend had married a rich old businessman and has a child. He is very angry, so he decides to use the rich man's daughter to take revenge on his girlfriend. Because they both come from poor and miserable family, so the girl wants to become wealthy through any ways. It updates to 12 episodes now. I am looking forwards to the ending. Maybe the story is a little bit old school, but it is good to kill time. You can take a look at this one!

The blind side

I saw this movie last week in the library. The story features Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron),whose mother had drug addiction so he was adopted by many families. However he ran away every time to find his mother and took care of her. One cold day when he walked on the street to sleep in the gym, Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock), an interior designer married a wealthy man, noticed him and let him stay in her house, but Michael left in the morning. After a few days, Leigh Anne decided to become Michael's legal guardian. She helped Michael become a famous football player.

What I have learnt from this movie is that we should never give up on any child, because everyone has his or her potential, just like Michael's talent in playing football. Also I appreciate Leigh Anne's kind heart and her courage. She tries her best to protect family and treat Michael as her own son. I think this is really touching, you can find it in NCCU's library!
